Presentation of the book Ultra Plus Ultra by Vidal García

Ultra Plus Ultra , from the publisher El quinto sello, is a publication that commemorates the aerial feat that, under the command of Ramón Franco, crossed the Atlantic 100 years ago to the south departing from Huelva and touching on its journey the Canary Islands, Cape Verde, Brazil and Uruguay, to end in Argentina.

The flight had an enormous social and media impact at the time, turning its protagonists into true heroes in the eyes of the public. The text includes information that attempts to place the modern reader in that historical context. It also includes the account published by Ramón Franco and Julio Ruiz de Alda after the 1926 flight, providing firsthand details of this epic feat.

Vidal García has been the author of numerous publications on electronics, photography, fiction, and essays since 1988.
