Su casco urbano sorprende por las casas pinariegas de piedra, con hermosas galerías y balconadas que se asoman al exterior. Algunas casas son especialmente interesantes, como la del Marqués de Vilueña, la de Pedro de Neila o la Casa de los Ramos. Además de que un imponente rollo jurisdiccional recuerda el pasado señorial de la localidad, la villa conserva la iglesia de Santa María del Pino, del siglo XVI, que guarda interesantes retablos barrocos. En los alrededores conviene visitar el embalse de la Cuerda del Pozo, que ofrece todas las posibilidades para la práctica de deportes acuáticos.
