Un petit village qui conserve dans son église paroissiale, sous l’invocation de Saint-Michel, deux retables des XVIe et XVIIe siècles. Le temple, constitué de deux nefs, correspond au style gothique. À la sortie, lorsque le village abandonne le Canal, on voit la neuvième écluse et sous celle-ci l’aqueduc des Hortezuelos.
Après avoir parcouru trois kilomètres on découvre la dixième écluse et, à ses côtés, l’aqueduc La Tabla aux abords de Castrillo de Río Pisuerga, dans la province de Burgos.
