It is a room of 300 square meters in which you can see archaeological remains of the door of Principalis Sinistra (Bishop Door), eastern access to the camp of La Legio VII and the latrines of the thermal baths.

The crypt is just located in front of the southern façade of the cathedral. The remains were discovered while the development and management works near the cathedral at the end of the 1990s.
