Melania Cascante
Head chef and owner of the Hotel Rural Los Villares in Los Villares de Soria. She completed advanced studies in Restaurant Management, Tourism Information and Marketing, Accommodation, and Dietetics and Nutrition, as well as various postgraduate courses such as accommodation management. She is a very active woman who constantly pursues her training by taking various courses and completing additional training.
She has been managing her own hospitality businesses for over 40 years, is the general manager of the Hotel Alfonso VIII, and currently runs the rural hotel Los Villares in Soria. Melania has taught various courses, programs, and professional certifications since 2007 (with over 3,000 hours taught). She is the winner of several awards, including the Mycological, Mediterranean, and Truffle Tapas in various editions (2009, 2010, 2011, and 2017). She has also participated as a speaker at various hospitality-related events, including gastronomic fairs and congresses.
