It was restored in the XVI century, flanked by two towers, one with round floor and the other square, which is used to access to the Jewish quarter.

It is one of the seven gates that once existed in the wall; one of the remaining three, the most robust and fortified of all, and that communicated the within the walls with the above-mentioned Jewish quarter.
