Mathias Rocheleau-Duplain
Mathias Rocheleau-Duplain is a Canadian professional passionate about agriculture, bioecology and mycology.
CEO and co-founder of Mycosphaera, Canada's first non-profit organization dedicated exclusively to fungal conservation, Rocheleau-Duplain has built a collaborative network uniting scientists, institutions, and citizens to protect Canada's fungi.
A graduate in organic agricultural business management from the Institut National d'Agriculture Biologicique (INAB) at the Cégep de Victoriaville and in bioecology technique from the Cégep de Sainte-Foy, he combines technical knowledge with a deep commitment to scientific outreach. His work focuses on the study of microscopic and entomopathogenic fungi, using genomic tools to understand their ecological role.
In addition to his scientific work, Rocheleau-Duplain is a renowned macro photographer and promoter of educational activities such as wild mushroom identification and collection workshops. He also cultivates medicinal species and actively participates in mycological inventories and community projects.
