Dr. Alfonso NavarroDr. Alfonso Navarro A PhD in Biology from the University of Murcia, his scientific career has always revolved around the cultivation of desert truffles and mycorrhizal fungi.

Over the years, he has worked in several companies developing new products related to mycology and has been associated with various universities where he has developed his research work: University of Alberta (Canada), University of Turin (Italy), University of Darmstadt (Germany) and Zaidín Experimental Station (CSIC) in Granada.

In 2016, she began her teaching career at the University of Murcia, teaching classes in the Bachelor's programs in Biology, Biotechnology, and the Master's in Biotechnology and Plant Stress Biology at the University of Murcia.

He has published numerous articles in leading international journals and book chapters, presented papers at national and international conferences, and supervised numerous theses and worked on numerous research projects.
