Juan Manuel Velasco Santos
Juan Manuel Velasco Santos holds a PhD in Botany from the University of Salamanca; a Master's degree in Science Teaching from the University of Valencia; a Secondary School Professor of Biology and Geology; and an Associate Professor of Science Teaching at the University of Salamanca.
Author or co-author of works on botany, mycology, and science education, including: Edible and Poisonous Mushrooms in Spain and the Rest of the World, Mycological Inventory of Salamanca, Mycological Inventory of Castilla y León (Parts I and II), and Vernacular Names for Mushrooms in Spanish from Spain.
He is vice president of the Lazarillo Mycological Society of Salamanca.
