Roberto Garibay Orijel
PhD in Biological Sciences. He completed a postdoctoral year at UC Berkeley and a postdoctoral year at CIECO, UNAM. He is a member of the National System of Researchers (level two). He was president of the Mexican Mycological Society from 2016 to 2018.
He has published forty-seven peer-reviewed scientific articles, thirty-eight of them in indexed journals; two books; and twelve book chapters. He has presented fifty-five papers at international conferences, eighty-three papers at national conferences, and twenty-three papers at symposia. He has given thirty-seven national and international conferences and organized eleven symposia and workshops.
He has supervised three doctoral theses, eight master's theses, and five completed bachelor's theses, as well as three doctoral theses and one bachelor's theses in progress.
