Associate Professor of Tourism Marketing at the University of Lleida (UdL), Associate Professor of Smart Tourism at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) and Associate Editor of the European Journal of Travel Research and Consumer Behavior in Tourism and Hospitality, formerly International Journal of Culture, Tourism and Hospitality Research.
She was the principal investigator (PI) of the TURCOLAB project (ECO2017-88984-R) of the National Plan. In December 2013, an international review board awarded her the Doctor of Europeus distinction and the grade of Outstanding Cum Laude.
The Governing Board of the Rovira i Virgili University (URV) awarded him the 2013/2014 extraordinary doctoral prize in Social and Legal Sciences. The International Federation for Information Technologies and Travel & Tourism (IFITT) awarded him the 2015 IFITT Award for Excellence in a Doctoral Thesis.
