On November 13 , at the Auditorium of the Sabugal Museum , in the Central Region of Portugal, this meeting will analyze the historical evolution of fortresses, forts and castles of the Spanish-Portuguese border, from their defensive function to their valorization as shared cultural heritage, tourist resource and engine of territorial development, contributing to the recognition of La Raya as the oldest border in Europe.
