Opening of Monuments in Castile and León
On the occasion of Holy Week and taking into account that it is one of the periods with the greatest influx of tourists in the Community, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism continues to bet on a promotional strategy that combines heritage, culture and tourism, with a special incidence in the rural world, with the aim of energizing it through tourism.
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism, in collaboration with the Diocese of Castile and León , promotes, organizes, makes known and facilitates the enjoyment of our magnificent historical-artistic Heritage, through volunteers designated by each parish, who are in charge of opening the temples and to offer information about the conditions of visits.
This publication compiles 319 monuments grouped into 16 thematic proposals, based on artistic styles, geographical areas or tourist routes that enable access and knowledge of these cultural and artistic resources of the Community of Castile and León that are usually not visitable or have conditions of access. very limited visit.
