Traditional Campaspero winepress
The Campaspero Wine Press is part of the history and winemaking tradition of the municipality.
It was in operation until the 1970s, being a key piece in the wine production of Campaspero.
The space consists of two pits:
The first one is for receiving the grapes, treading and pressing.
In the pressing area, the main feature of the wine press is the elm beam, approximately 9 meters long, a true original relic.
The second pit is where the must falls and from there it was taken by the tanners to the traditional underground cellars for its transformation into wine and its storage.
