When to visit it?

Observations: The upper section of the Leon city wall can be visited in the following locations: In the Jardines del Cid (Gardens of El Cid), there is a small tower containing a section of the 4th-century wall that is accessible. This is the only section open and accessible without needing to enter through a museum or interpretation center. Other places where the top of the wall can be accessed include: the San Isidoro Museum during its opening hours, the Leon Roman Interpretation Center during its guided tour times, and the Leon Provincial Historical Archive. While it is possible to walk along short sections, this is subject to the opening hours of each monument and requires paying the corresponding entrance fee.
