The Quintanar Palace
ORIGIN
The Quintanar Palace is a space dependent on the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Junta de Castilla y León. Inaugurated in March 2011, it was born with the aim of endowing the city of Segovia and Castilla y León with a meeting place dedicated to the production, research and dissemination of the design culture; where artists, entrepreneurs and the public come together to share experiences and ideas through design and culture.
BUILDING
The structure of the Quintanar Palace is that of a seventeenth-century Segovian manor house, built around a central patio and remodeled in the 18th century. The singularity of the building allows to shelter in its rooms and gardens to multiple activities of artistic, social, environmental and business character, covering all possible areas of design, art and culture.
