The art center is built on what was the old provincial prison, an eclectic-style building built in 1930. The current reform was carried out by the Spanish architect Horacio Fernández del Castillo and in it an attempt was made to respect the building's historical memory in some of its rooms (such as its central room that preserves the cell doors and the original iron grille).

  • From Tuesday to Friday: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Saturdays, Sundays and holidays: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Guided tours: Saturdays: 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Sundays: 1:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
  • Closed: Monday
