Jaime Olaizola
Forestry Engineer and PhD in Microbiology from the University of Valladolid. Founder of IDForest Applied Forest Biotechnology , he has dedicated his career to the research and development of innovative solutions based on mycorrhizal fungi, with applications in sectors such as agriculture, forestry, and environmental restoration. His doctoral thesis focused on the biological control of Fusarium spp., and since then he has published numerous scientific and informative articles, as well as several books on mycology.
Since the creation of IDForest in 2010, Olaizola has led projects that combine advanced biotechnology with traditional knowledge of the natural environment. Under his leadership, the company has established itself as a benchmark in Castilla y León in the use of fungi to improve agricultural and forestry productivity, as well as to promote sustainable practices.
