Oscar Garcia Marina
Óscar García Marina is a chef from Soria, Spain, renowned for his talent, personality, and deep connection to local produce. For nearly two decades, he led the Baluarte restaurant in Soria, which was awarded a Michelin star and two Repsol Suns, making it a benchmark of contemporary Spanish gastronomy and placing the city on the national and international culinary map.
After 18 years in the business, Óscar has decided to close Baluarte to embark on a new personal and professional path, returning to his roots in Vinuesa, his hometown. His new project, called Baluarte Quintanarejo, is a restaurant nestled in the mountains of Soria, where he focuses on a more approachable cuisine, inspired by the local area and the natural environment that shaped his childhood.
