In the heart of Medinaceli, our inn stands as a living witness to history, preserving the traditional architecture that characterizes the town's Historic-Artistic Site. Restored in 2022, it holds the memory of its past as an old loom, where locals brought their skeins of wool and strips of fabric to create patchwork blankets, which protected mattresses or accompanied them while working in the fields.
Within its walls, an Arab cistern built upon a Roman foundation remains perfectly preserved, a secret of time that connects us to centuries of history. Its architectural, historical, and ethnographic value has transformed it into a Brand "Posada Real", a refuge where tradition and memory intertwine, inviting you to experience the essence of Medinaceli.
Some of the original elements of the loom were rescued and today form part of the carefully curated decoration of the inn: the keychains, the room signs and other details pay homage to the old loom, preserving its history in every corner.
Currently, the inn occupies a basement, ground floor, and two upper floors, offering six welcoming double and family rooms, decorated with exquisite traditional Castilian furnishings. Each room, equipped with its own bathroom with shower, invites you to relax in an atmosphere of serenity and comfort. All feature a large window or balcony, where the light and tranquility of Medinaceli envelop the guest, while an exclusive room with a whirlpool tub offers a haven of absolute calm, a haven of well-being in the historic heart of the town.
