Built in the late 12th century, although construction continued throughout the following two centuries. The tower and the roof were rebuilt in the 16th century, after they had crumbled down. There is a remarkable rose window in the south front, the symbol of the town.

Observations: €6 pass for all churches open to the public. Free for residents of Zamora. Free admission to all churches on Wednesdays from 10:00 to 12:00. Check for bank holidays and long weekends. Closed April 6th and 7th.
