Alejandro ChamorroAlejandro Chamorro An Ecuadorian chef, after completing his culinary studies, Alejandro had the opportunity to work at some of the best restaurants in Europe and Latin America, such as Noma and Astrid y Gastón. After this long journey, he returned to Quito with a firm conviction to create a cuisine based on local produce and identity, which materialized in Nuema, the restaurant where he currently operates. At Nuema, he became the first restaurant in Ecuador to make the list of the 50 best restaurants in Latin America. His cuisine is characterized by finding the balance between understanding the products and their aesthetic placement on the plate. Alejandro is a natural craftsman who creates stories in each of his creations. Proud of what his country offers, he is loyal to everything produced there.
