Cynthia Yaber is a distinguished chef of Mexican origin who has developed a distinguished career in Spain, especially in the Basque Country. Her first exposure to cooking came while helping her grandfather bake cakes. She decided to study gastronomy, initially in Guayente and later in San Sebastián.

Her professional career began at Café Saigón and later moved to the restaurant Ganbara with Amaia Ortuzar. A key turning point in her career was her arrival at the iconic Arzak Restaurant in San Sebastián in 2008, initially as an internship. Since then, Cynthia Yaber has remained on the team at this establishment, a benchmark of Spanish haute cuisine run by Juan Mari Arzak and his daughter Elena Arzak. Over the years, her dedication and talent led her to rise to become the restaurant's Head Chef. In this role, she is a fundamental part of Arzak's culinary avant-garde, always maintaining the essence of tradition.
