Chef Robert Harper was born in San Diego, California. He trained at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Portland, Oregon. He spent the first eight years of his career working at the Pacific Northwest restaurant, owned by a well-known Portland-based food and beer brand. He continued his professional career as head chef at the Grand Windsor Hotel in Auckland, a five-star hotel considered one of the best in the country. His vision and understanding of gastronomy have led him to focus on sustainable cuisine and organic products. His way of thinking focuses on cooking as a way to bring people together, so in his spare time, he founded the Auckland Feast Supper Club, a gastronomic club that allows people to enjoy food, even strangers, and who find a connection in the kitchen.
