Alain Borde
He represents the third generation of owners of Maison Borde, a small and medium-sized business specializing in the marketing of wild mushrooms.
A graduate of a business school and trained in food preservation techniques, Alain is a born entrepreneur who runs his company dynamically and pragmatically. After developing exports, he implemented a certification policy, diversified his business, and has made Borde the European leader in dried mushrooms. He is currently working on a mushroom city project with a museum space and a cooking school.

Founded in 1920 in Saugues, Auvergne, the small family business has become a benchmark in wild mushrooms over the years. Its mushrooms are sold dried, preserved, frozen, and, more recently, freeze-dried. Its specialized expertise allows it to sell products to supermarkets, the industry, and professionals (especially chefs) in France and more than 65 countries.
