He graduated from the Graduate School of Education and Research at Chiba University, majoring in science. He earned a master's degree with research on the interaction between ammonia fungi and nematodes in forest soil. Since joining Ichimasa Kamaboko Co., Ltd., he has been involved in maitake mushroom cultivation, culture media development, and functional research on various fungi.
