His passion for gastronomy began at an early age in the family restaurant in Ermesinde. Arnaldo Azevedo was born two years after his father, with whom he shares his name and vocation, opened a restaurant, where he took his first steps in the kitchen. He completed a cooking course at the Santa Maria da Feira Hospitality School, followed by other experiences between Porto and the Algarve, which helped shape his career and define the personality and audacity of his creations. He arrived at Vila Foz Hotel & Spa in 2020, earning Vila Foz its first Michelin star in 2021.
Arnaldo Azevedo infuses a wealth of Portugal into his dishes, both through the products he uses and the memories that capture its flavors. A chef who, regarding the future, simply says his goal is to strive to improve every day, confident that he and his team are on the right path and giving their all.
